Dhamma Talks/Meditation will start from Wednesday 19th Feb, 2025 and be held every two weeks from 7pm – 8.30pm at The Yananda Room, at the bottom of Luna Apartments at 22 Hudson St, Lewisham (venue will open from 6.30pm and close at 9pm).

Dana Days will commence from Sunday 23 Feb, 2025 and will be held on the last Sunday each month from 10.30 am to 1pm.

As promised, we have found a new venue for both Dhamma Talks and Dana Days and are happy to confirm we have the space booked for 2025. In a twist of fate, it happens to be in Lewisham, very close to the old Sangha Lodge!
The Yananda Room, at the bottom of Luna Apartments at 22 Hudson St, is a great new venue, easily accessible by train (Lewisham Station), light rail (Lewisham West), Bus (413, Old Canterbury Rd) and plenty of street parking. See map below.
The facilities are excellent:
- Kitchenette with stainless-steel countertops, fridge, microwave, countertop electric re-heater, zip instant hot water tap.
- 30 chairs (please BYO cushion for meditation)
- Public outdoor space directly outside including BBQ
- Ramp access, wheelchair accessible w/accessible toilet
Dana Days will commence from Sunday 23 Feb, 2025 and will be held on the last Sunday each month from 10.30am to 1pm. Extensive kitchen and BBQ facilities along with public outdoor space make this an ideal venue for both events.
The Committee is very hopeful that with a reliable and accessible new venue, the Association of Engaged Buddhists can rebuild its connection with members and the Buddhist community more broadly in 2025.
