Dhamma Talk with Ajahn Yiu

Thanks to the hard work and generosity of our good friends at the Metta Centre, we are fortunate to have Ajahn Yiu visiting from Hong Kong who will be giving the AEB Dhamma Talk on Wed May 14 from 7-8.30pm at the The Yananda Room, 22 Hudson St, Lewisham. Ajahn’s talk will also be available on Zoom using the regular details (below). We look forward to welcoming Ajahn Yiu to our regular meditation evening!

About Ajahn Yiu: 2011: Ordained as a Bhikkhu under Luang Por Ganha in Thailand; 2020: Began guiding meditation with the blessings of Luang Por Ganha; 2022: Returned to Hong Kong from Thailand and was invited to be the meditation instructor for Hong Kong Theravada Meditation Society; 2023 Established Maggapaṭipadā Meditation Centre on Lamma Island, Hong Kong.

Inspired by Ānāpānasati sutta, AjahnYiu gently guides practitioners inward, layer by layer, into the inner depths of the body and mind with minimal effort. This approach encourages a natural release of bodily tension and emotional struggles, opening the way to profound serenity and tranquility, ultimately guiding practitioners toward letting go of the self.
